Alan DeYoung, resident of the City of Muskego, located in Assembly District 83, has announced his candidacy with the Democratic Party of Wisconsin for the State Assembly in District 83.
“I believe District 83 needs better leadership versus someone who just follows what others do. We need new ideas versus the same old, same old. District 83 is a unique district covering multiple counties.”
DeYoung grew up in Waukesha County, residing in Brookfield, WI most of his life. He attended Marian University in Fond du Lac for his undergraduate degree in Information Technology. He completed his Masters in Marketing from Bellevue University of Bellevue, NE.
Background & Experience
DeYoung currently works for the Wisconsin EMS Association (WEMSA) and the Wisconsin State Fire Chiefs Association (WSFCA) as their Sales & Marketing Director. He helps with operations and partnerships with EMS and Fire related companies and advocates for EMS and Fire legislative issues. Previously he worked for a Fortune 100 privately-owned company, a start-up, and owned a small remodeling business.
He is currently pursuing his PhD in Leadership through Southeastern University of Lakeland, FL. He completed his Masters in Marketing and Bachelors in Information Technology.
